The Caboodle World Cup Showdown

The World Cup semi-finals are here and things are getting highly competitive in the office. With an extra day's holiday on the line and all entry fees going to St Leonard’s Hospice, find out why the office is squaring up ahead of Wednesday's massive England vs. Argentina clash...

The Caboodle World Cup Showdown

If you’ve called the office this week and heard wild cheering (or a bit of crying), don’t worry. Our tech is fine it's just the Whole Caboodle World Cup Sweepstake reaching fever pitch.

We’ve paused the spreadsheet formatting to focus on the tournament brackets. Best of all, every single entry fee goes directly to our amazing Charity of the Year, St Leonard’s Hospice.

The Story So Far

We drew teams out of an empty hat, and our shared Excel sheet has been absolute chaos ever since. A few of us are already mourning early exits, while the lucky ones are smugly highlighting their winning rows. The stakes are ridiculously high this year, too. The eventual winner walks away with an extra day of annual leave. People are taking this very seriously.

Wednesday Night: England V Argentina

This Wednesday night, the tournament gets personal. England faces Argentina in a massive semi-final clash.

On the pitch, it’s Harry Kane vs. Lionel Messi. But in our office, the stakes are way higher. It’s a direct face-off between Cora (who drew England) and Kitty (who is flying the flag for Argentina).

The internal group chat is already locked, loaded, and highly competitive. Will Cora be celebrating on Thursday morning, or will Kitty have the last laugh?

Winning for St Leonard’s Hospice

While there are ultimate bragging rights on the line, the real win is for St Leonard’s Hospice.

They provide vital care and support to people with life-limiting illnesses and their families. We are incredibly proud to back them this year. Knowing our office rivalry is raising money for such an invaluable charity makes every single goal worth it.

What’s Your Prediction?

Are you watching the game this week? Do you think England can go all the way?

Let us know your score predictions next time you jump on a call with us. And if England wins, please bear with Cora, she will be planning her extra day of leave. And if you want to support our charity of the year too then click here to donate!

Come on England!
