We are looking for an experienced New Business Professional. Someone who has a proven track record of identifying prospects and generating businesses. Ideally this will be at a similar B2B business, preferably within an agency. This is a role for a successful and self motivated individual, keen to put ideas forward and use their experience to win new clients.

The New Business role is considered crucial to the agency success; therefore, you will closely work with the senior department heads so that you are able to understand and be able to present the agency and its unique software solutions, including AI websites that can deliver tailored content and identify website visitors by name.

You will help shape the overall Business Development Strategy and get involved at every level of the business. You must have had previous experience in similar new business roles and be hard working and genuine.

This role is about building long-term relationships through sophisticated and well-thought new business campaigns. Of course, you will need to be comfortable picking up the phone and speaking to prospects in order to build a pipeline of prospects, and naturally you will be able to close deals.

You will need to find potential pitch opportunities as they occur by using the internet and networking - and you may need to attend local events outside of normal business hours.

You will need to be charismatic, a good writer and conversationalist, knowledgeable about business, understand digital advertising, website builds, brands and design. You should be able to think creatively about how to open up and develop a dialogue with business contacts.

Criteria:
• Minimum two years experiences in similar positions
• Determined, organised, confident strong negotiator with good interpersonal skills
• Highly motivated, positive attitude, able to work under pressure
• Full driving licence
• Live locally to Harrogate…and that’s a must!
